Every ALCIMA fabric is tested, certified, and chosen with your skin and the planet in mind. Here's what's behind each label.

Our certification standard

All ALCIMA fabrics are certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and GRS (Global Recycled Standard). Our organic cotton pieces carry two additional certifications: GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and bluesign®.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Every component of the fabric — from fiber to thread to trim — is tested for harmful substances and confirmed safe for skin contact. This is the foundation of every ALCIMA piece.

GRS — Global Recycled Standard

Verifies the recycled content in our fabrics (like rPET made from post-consumer plastic bottles) and tracks it through the full supply chain, along with responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices at every stage of production.

GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard

The leading standard for organic fiber, covering the entire textile supply chain — from harvesting the raw material to environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing. Applied to our organic cotton sock styles.

bluesign®

Focuses on eliminating harmful substances from the manufacturing process itself, protecting both the environment and the people who make our products. Applied to our organic cotton sock styles.
